Shattered Veil Zombies map intro is already in Black Ops 6 but no one noticed

Black Ops 6 Zombies fans have been desperately waiting for a Shattered Veil intro cinematic that reportedly isn’t coming, but our first look at the new map is already in the game.

While some players have criticized the lack of content in multiplayer and Warzone, BO6 Zombies has been thriving. After launching with two maps, Citadelle des Morts and The Tomb arrived in Season 1 Reloaded and Season 2 respectively.

Next up, Shattered Veil is set to become the fifth map when it arrives in the Season 3 update. Treyarch have been slowly pulling back the curtain on the new map, but are yet to release the usual cinematic intro trailer.

According to trusted leaker ‘TheGhostOfHope,’ there isn’t one coming either, but it turns out that the intro might already be in Black Ops 6 and we just didn’t know it.

Liberty Falls intro is actually a Shattered Veil trailer

All the way back when BO6 was released, we were met with a cutscene leading into Liberty Falls. However, the video itself doesn’t actually show any of the map, instead following Edward Richtofen running through a mansion using the iconic Wunderwaffe.

It’s a memorable opening, but it doesn’t really set up anything that we see or do on Liberty Falls. But now that Shattered Veil has been revealed, it’s all starting to make sense.

This cutscene makes more since now, it showed the stuff in the teasers and isn't the wunderwaffe supposed to be the wonder weapon? if so, i wonder if this was the intro since its being reported shattered veil wont have a intro

As one Reddit user pointed out, many of the teasers shared so far directly correspond to moments from that initial cinematic.

The video cameras that Richtofen is hunched over show the courtyard area also revealed in a teaser image, and it ends in the underground laboratory section, which also featured in a post from Treyarch shared on March 14.

On top of all that, multiple leaks have claimed the Wunderwaffe DG-2, which first appeared in the original Black Ops, will be the next Wonder Weapon. This fan-favorite gun featured heavily in the Liberty Falls opening and was wielded by Richtofen, who is also confirmed to return on the new map.

So, although fans will be disappointed that Shattered Veil is seemingly not getting its own fully-fledged trailer, everything you need to know has been hidden in Black Ops 6 for months.
